I passed the exam!
I was very confident I would pass the exam in flying color, so today.., I didn’t expect much drama. The exam started at exactly 12 noon. Upon login (it was a computerized exam) I was not so sure anymore whether I would pass the exam, the questions were not as straight forward as I thought it would be.
An hour later, I was still scratching my head, there were a few questions I had not been able to find the answers. I am super positive I calculated everything correctly but my answer is not listed as one of the four choices. 20 minutes ticked by and I was still stuck at the same question.
Frustrated I tembak the answers and jeng je jeng.. the moment of truth.. will I pass or will I fail?. I nervously click on the ‘Finish Exam’ button and my eyes glued to the monitor… suddenly a big red blinking sentence appeared! I gasped for air! OMG!.. did I fail? No!.. please.. no!.. I waited too long for this!
To my relieve the system was merely asking for my confirmation whether I really want to submit my answers as there will be no turning back. I clicked ‘Yes’ and then a window popped up saying ‘Congratulations.. you passed the exam.. blah blah…‘. hehe.. what a huge relieve.
The computer then printed my result and I went out of the examination room a confident man once again!
I will be getting my 007 agent code in a week!
Edit: To put things into perspective, 5 of us (from my team) sat for the exam just now, only 3 made it, another 2 failed and will have to sit for the exam again (and wait for another months or so). So it is not a ‘guaranteed pass’ examination. If you are into this career, do not take the exam lightly.
Congratulations! Welcome to the club! May we all advance swiftly in this new journey of ours. By the way, your wife promised to invest in unit trusts with me some time back….tapi memandangkan you’re into this too….nampaknye i know who she’ll be investing in
All the best comrade!

Hi,
You must be her office mate. Yup she told me you just passed the exam too and is beginning into this career.
So do you have a blog mate? Maybe we can share each other’s experiences and ups and downs.
